This is just a neverending PR nightmare for them. They should have realized how badly they screwed this up and just pulled the bandaid off fast and laid all of their terrible cards on the table in one humiliating act. Just get it all over with and let the healing begin. Their pathetic attempt to hide their cowardice and incompetence coupled with the slow, daily trickle of shocking disclosures is just so aggravating.

at least add fuel to the fires for the conspiracy theory crazies. However this was the local police of a fairly small community. Most likely a bunch of baws and trump voters make up this police force. The idea that this local town police force in Texas was infiltrated and controlled by some “globalist” boogeyman to help push gun control is beyond idiotic and defies all logic. Sometimes if not most of the time the obvious answer is the right one. This was a mix of incompetence and cowardice. The new revelations while mind boggling hurt the conspiracy angle not help it

It only takes buying off or controlling the one/ones in charge. Most of the rest will follow orders and help make sure the couple that don’t follow them, do.

If wife wasn’t there and hadn’t just called bleeding out would he have gone in? He led trainings for the disastrous response that occurred. He was there for his job as well, and the reports don’t say his gun taken away or that he was stopped from charging until after phone call. Until then he sat like the rest not going in to protect kids or even his wife until it was too late.

Which is why I’m calling for a specifically harsh penalty for these cops to persuade the cowards that death is better than the fate they’ll have if they don’t run into the classroom to save the kids.
