Is that a thing of the past now with cell phone and tablets?

I use ctrl C, X, V, A, D a lot. Home key all the time

On TD I use alt left and right to go through pages

Is this a dying thing or do my old folks do the same still with desktops (laptops)?

I use them all the time.

I hate when I show an older or younger user the keyboard shortcut sequence and they take their hands off the keyboard to do the sequence and hold down the keys as though they found a magic button on the computer.

Windows Key + Shift + S opens snipping tool. Quick and easy, once you've snipped, it goes to your clipboard and ready to Ctrl + V into that Teams chat

Print Screen key was a one click wonder back in the day and for some tasks stills is still useful if you need the whole screen.

You are not alone especially as it relates to excel. Could go an hour or two without touching mouse simply by using 10 key pad and functions.

The way to really learn is by unplugging the mouse. I had a buddy do that and it was insane just how much you can do without it. Obviously he had to manually plug it in for very select scenarios, but 95% of things in Excel can be done with shortcuts.
