If a crime wasn't committed.....not much you can do.

Unless the perp is Trump. Then you can just make shite up.

Now now...if the bendee and the bender are the same sex, that is to be celebrated in the modern day.

Help me understand how you came to such an absurdly stupid conclusion that the US Capital isn’t public. Walk me though that.

When Congress is not in session, the galleries are open to the public Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Please tell me you didn't think that you could just waltz into the capitol building at 2am

quote:

Code of the District of Columbia

§ 47–2885.17a. Public place defined.

For the purposes of § 47-2885.17, the term “public place” means any street, sidewalk, bridge, alley, plaza, park, driveway, parking lot, transportation facility, or the doorways and entrance ways to any building which fronts on any of these locations, or a motor vehicle in or on any such place.

Is the only DC statute I can find specifically defining public places. That is dealing with drugs and not indecent exposure.

There's truth to this.

Think of the shite stained beans these motherfrickers would've spilled had they been charged with a crime.

If a woman says something and there's no one around to hear it. Is it still stupid?

This thread should really be moved to the lifestyles board.

Set aside the law, which I still believe would support a prosecution if the local authorities were inclined to do so. Are the people against prosecution ok with people having sex in government buildings with an unlocked door that anyone could walk into? Then filming it and posting it online. No issue with that at all?

Honest question: have you seen a single person advocate against that person being fired? Because if not, you have your answer: yes, people have quite an issue with what occurred.

Doesn’t make it a crime, though, which is what all the pearl clutching is about.

Watching the OT smooth brains cite legal code and discuss their interpretation of the law, is like watching the cast of cheers babble about astrophysics.

This is what the OT is built for.

It appears some people think the law should be based on feelings.

They feel like it should be a crime and they are being cheated by the Dems.

They look at the act and try to make it fit a crime, rather than looking at the law and determining if it was broken.

Was it open to the public at the time? The answer is no. Try to go walk into the Capitol Building at 11pm and tell me how far you get.

The Capitol Building was closed. There was no "public" to view the act.

and even still, I don't believe that it's truly "open". The time that I visited, we had to write our local Rep, go to their office in the building next to the Capitol to get our passes, and then go through the LONG security lines in the underground tunnel connecting the two buildings.

You couldn't just go through the front door like it's JC Penney's.

They would have filed charges if two heterosexuals had filmed themselves having sex there.

The staffer caught having sex in 2022 wasn't gay and wasn't charged.

The key was the dudes both worked there. Clearly. If a random did it, it would've been illegal because they weren't supposed to be there.

They investigated and having sex in an office where u work will get you fired, but apparently isn't illegal.

Nope. I honestly don't care what two consenting adults do.

Why do you?

Sounds pretty gay to me.

Of course he doesn't believe it. He just has to repeat it so that others might. Both sides are full of sick individuals. It's why they join a team, they want strength in numbers. This was from 2 days ago.
