Are they still using metrics that have shite to do with quality, like how many first-generation students enroll as freshmen or how many are off-white? A few years ago they had Florida A&M ranked higher than all but like four SEC schools.

Harvard completely destroyed their brand with the “extension” school that any idiot can get a degree from now.

Meh.
I have an exGF that graduated from Berkeley and in common sense she was dumber than a box of rocks.

University of Washington is #12?

It’s mainly due to the medical school. UW med is the state med school for Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

I could only see the top 50 but the fact that there were no French or German or Italian universities stood out to me.

US so far out in front they can’t see #2
UK still well represented
China showing up
And Australia.

What’s the rest of Europe’s excuse?

Your wife had a little something to do with it too.

I was going to say, I know it’s a generally respected school but I’ve never seen it come close to cracking the top 10 just in the US.

Not sure what criteria is being employed here to get them this high internationally.

It has been a regular in the top 25 intl. list for over 20 years. I’m surprised they made a jump to 12.

No doubt it is a fine school, but its undergraduate admissions standards are way lower than other schools ranked comparably, which makes it an odd fit up there.
