This is why I tell my Sailors who are getting out of the Navy prior to retirement to have a plan. Network, take online classes, make sure you are logging hours on U.S. Maps, and apply for Skillbridge when routing your package to get out.
This shipmate clearly didn't have a plan other than using her body to try and get rich and it backfired on her. At 46 she's still very pretty so something tells me there are other things preventing her from actually planting roots outside of a brothel. Drugs are without question involved here.

Those conversations rarely (if ever) come up. However, if a male or female Sailor were to tell me that their plan upon leaving the service was to go to Miami or Los Angeles to make it as a porn star, I'd probably advise them against it.
