The U.S. Army is in a real pickle here. If they give these cadets a commission they will be commissioning officers who have already alienated a good majority of the people they will be leading.
On the other hand, if they are not allowed to graduate for expressing themselves, the backlash will be too great and terrible to imagine.
So what's more important to the Army, unit cohesion or public image? My guess is the latter.

What these stupid cadets don't realize is that this picture will be coming up secretly anytime they are up for a promotion, high priority job, etc. It may not be official, but if the Army has any kind of intelligence none of these women will make it past Captain. You can't be visually this stupid in this day and age. This photo is really no different than a bunch of white guys doing something racist together.

These women will do more for their country then most of you sorry MFers. If they are in the street fighting you complain. Now they are defending you and you still find something to bitch about.
I want some of what you're snorting. Apparently using it causes you to experience an alternate reality.

Thise turdlets will be supervising the post mess hall. They'll screw that up too then get passed for promotion and there out. Sad part is they,ll fuq up a bunch of enlisted folks before the wash out.

On his website, Burk wrote: "This overt display of the Black Lives Matter movement is not, in itself, wrong per say [sic], but to do so while in uniform is completely unprofessional and not in keeping with what the USMA [United States Military Academy] stands for."
This should be true for any company or organization, particularly while in uniform.
If you want to support BLM or rock some version of the confederate flag on your vehicle, do so on your own time and property, not mine. I really don't care what side of the aisle the statement falls, enforce it equally.

If you consider sitting around on the internet in S1, dicking up paperwork or running a water purification platoon to be "defending us", than sure. Black folks rarely do combat arms. I don't know why that is but it's true.

So glad our tax dollars are paying for this.
I see a lot of future adjutant general's corps and logisticians in that picture.

They are so called West Point Cadets.
If they graduate being the best and brightest the military has, they should be in front line combat leadership roles not paper pushing positions.
As anybody who has been in combat knows some people can handle it while others cannot.
You really do not know until you are in it.

Do you guys really expect any thing different? Hell, their Commander in Chief has total disdain for the military and they know nothing will be done because he thinks like they do. Put yourself in place of the military guys that have to salute this incompetent pretender. Then there's the terrible possibility that they would have to salute Hillary who hates them more than Obama!

quote:Not how USMA is supposed to work, at all. The graduates will fill billets in every branch, and that's how it should be. Some branches have more physical requirements, but each is an important necessity in a modern Army, which is why we have them. USMA grad should be spread amongst the Army evenly.
