Look for the Dept. of Agriculture to switch the guidelines for nutrition to the Keto way. They already do the same for wheat based on the surplus. Nothing at all to do with proper nutrition, and everything to do with the agriculture industry.

Meat prices should go down right?
Cattlemen's Association would rather destroy it than sell it cheap. Same thing with Dairy Group.
Protectionism by industry rather than give consumers a break leading to expectations.

My grandparents were farmers, so they didn't make a whole lot of money. There was always food on the table since they grew it, but until my grandfather's land investments appreciated, they weren't well off.
So, they got government cheese and bologna. shite came in a big loaf the size of a loaf of bread and was wrapped in wax paper.
Still makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches.

So you posted that you were a vegetarian just to be an obnoxious twat and then deleted the post when called on it.

Man, you aren't lying. My grandmother used to get her commodities. The cheese was good for two things: Grilled cheese and plugging you up solid.

It's a well known fact that the vast majority of male vegans are extremely weak and frail. They are the epitome of a girly man.

PETA and the vegans will have a field day over this report.

Was the point of this thread to once again prove to everyone that you're a virtue-signaling pussy? If so, you've succeeded admirably.

Politicians would get too damn much grief but what ought to happen is do away with food stamps which are used fraudulently in every way possible and go back to the commodities process which took place when I was a kid.
Let needy folks line up for cheese, peanut butter, bread, canned meat, sugar, salt, flour, and so on.
Wouldn't stop all the fraud but would stop a lot of it.
Trouble is, liquor store owners, pawn shop owners, convenience stores and supermarket retailers would raise total hell.

That implies they know how to combine ingredients and create something edible. You know? Cook.

You probably be amazed at what they could do cooking or work, if we let them starve for a week or two.
