Ok, we are back to square one. You are retarded.

Do you think he would’ve figured that out as a gun was pointed at him by non-police officers?
That’s what guns are for whether they’re being used lawfully or not. They should make you reevaluate your life and what led up to that point

Well, let’s say some well-meaning citizen makes an honest mistake and pulls a gun on you because they think they know you committed a crime. You are being held at gunpoint by some guy who says you did something you didn’t do. Do you see a problem with this? How maybe things could turn out badly? That’s why.

Nope. I just understand exactly how this is supposed to work. You morons want a police state where only the government enforces laws. That is the road to lawlessness.

Again, this is not the scenario. They absolutely knew he had committed crimes in their area. 100%. That's not in dispute. Y'all keep having to phrase it as them "thinking they knew" because it's the only way your logic tracks.

This is exactly the mindset that leads to removal of our second amendment rights and lawlessness like we see in Los Angeles. We should all have just as much right to detain people for crimes we have actually witnessed as police do. Their authority is given by us, not the other way around.
What crime was witnessed?
They didn’t detain an active criminal. They harassed and chased down someone they thought was a criminal.
They had no badge. They were belligerent.
If the guy had caught Aubrey on his property committing a crime, held him with a firearm and told him he was calling the cops; I have no problem with that. But that didn’t happen.

So, in your mind it's not allowable for someone who doesn't live in your immediate neighborhood to take a walk there?
Forget about Arbery for a moment and think about the insanity of your statement. It would seem that you yearn for the days of vigilantism.

This is not at all an accurate portrayal of my argument in this thread.
It's telling that people have to keep lying about what I'm saying in order to refute it.

One of them had already witnessed him trespassing previously, had attempted to confront him, and had called 911 at that time. They knew he was committing crimes in their area.

This is false.

This scenario would apparently have been just as illegal as what did happen, so you might want to reassess your opinion on this matter.

Yes it is
Both times they saw Arbery enter the house, nothing was ever stolen
The owner of the house also stated that he had multiple other people on camera entering his house around the time that his fishing equipment was stolen

Literally everything you post, from “facts” to legal interpretation, is wrong.

Yeah, this scenario would have resulted in a life sentence as well

Did the guy who got life see Arbery committing a crime that day?

They knew he was committing crimes in their area.
They knew how? And I don’t call walking through a house under construction a crime. If so then most of us have committed a crime at one time or another

It’s true. They went after him in trucks, finally cornered him, threatened him and we know the results.[

No it wouldn’t.

I completely agree that the guys deserved the sentence they got. But, I don't want people wondering around my property. I don't care what everyone says is socially acceptable.

Even if they saw him committing misdemeanor trespassing they have no right to detain him like the guy you're responding to thinks they should. Can you imagine if regular citizens can start detaining people at gunpoint for committing misdemeanors?
Can I stand on 190 and pull a gun on people who don't come to a complete stop before turning on red?

I saw a guy throw a cigarette butt out on commute this morning and honestly felt like he deserved to be shot.

You've probably told this lie 15 times in this thread.

Neither would I, but it's still not a felony.

No you didn't. You left out large portions of what I stated, thus completely changing what I said.
