At the point you enter the Capitol building with the intention of stopping the proceedings of certifying a national election, you're attempting an overthrow of our Government. I don't really care what party you support. At that point you become a traitor. And I'm perfectly ok with handling that as need be.

There was finally someone that was actually standing up for them for a change and the people they thought were on their side help to stop him at every turn. I can't really blame people for feeling like they do.

Supposedly DOD denied a request to deploy National Guard to capital.
That's just a rumor for now. I can't find anything official on that yet.

I'm absolutely disgusted. What an embarrassment to this country. Shut the frick up with the comparisons to BLM, this is an attempted coup. These people are traitors and seditionists trying to overthrow the United States government.
Trump needs to be removed within hours for inciting this shite. Mass arrests need to occur. The National Guard needs to get in there and start "clearing" the area.

Only if the media treated it as such. They’ll just paint as, look crazy people are trying to take over the government. It feeds into their fear mongering of the entire right. That’s a fair point, pure majorities have gotten less done than anticipated. However, relatively speaking expanding the Supreme Court is “low cost” so it can’t be tied to the budgets that it would take to say, implement universal health care. Similarly there are not existing foreign treaties dependent on it. Other than remodeling a building there isn’t much to it.
Plus, there’s a “low intelligence” argument that since the population has expanded in the past century so so should the Supreme Court.
