ETA: It's like trying to boil down how Hitler came to power to one simple reason. It was a large, lengthy list of reasons. No, I'm not comparing Trump & Hitler, just that things like this have many factors to consider.

I mean, no. People have lost faith in the process. The courts, Congress, they all had opportunities to alleviate the concerns with regard to this election's integrity, and instead chose to pass the buck. This was the logical conclusion when those who are supposed to serve the people chose not to. This didn't happen because of Trump by himself. That's absurd.

This isn't about Trump. About a dozen or so congressional races weren't called more than a week after election day. Each congressional district in this country has about 700,000 people. If you have voter turnout at 70%, that's less than half a million votes to count. Why should that take two weeks to accomplish? Why do third-world countries have more efficient electoral systems than we do? Why is it that the same delays in vote counting always occur in the same urban areas of the same swing states?
