I see a peaceful protest occurring

In what way is breaking into the Capitol considered peaceful?

This is the same shite as the Floyd rioters.

I understand the frustration and anger. I understand why that would build the appeal of voting for a perceived outsider like Trump, who speaks to your concerns.

I do not understand using that as justification to storm the US Capitol.

You understand the frustration but don’t understand how that woul lead rational people to protest the very peopl and place where your life has been marginalized?

I’m assuming things are mostly under control now because cnn just keeps looping the same handful of clips from earlier.

No one alive has truly seen white rage

Let’s hope we never do, or we’ll all be wading in blood waist deep

White men are a lot of things throughout history - and genocidal killers is near the top of the list

If the left keeps poking the bear, it shouldn’t be surprised when the bear wakes up

At least they're attacking government property instead of private property.

In four years Puerto Rico and DC will be states voting D all the way, the Supreme Court will be added to with extremist, the Senate will change rules on filibusters, and the house can impeach anything they want with a lapdog media with a Senate rubber stamp.

Aren't protests supposed to make people uncomfortable? That's what I have heard for 4 years. How is standing outside going to make them uncomfortable?

You can continue to look down on these people and call them every name in the book. It's just gonna make things worse and honestly, I don't care.

I'm not looking down at anyone

I'm LUMPING THEM IN with all the other groups who have felt a certain sense of disenfranchisement. Nothing can be fixed now. It started generations ago. And holding Trump up as a last line of defense to save our great nation? How laughable a choice to make. It's all a con. Welcome to the realization.

I had mixed feelings to be perfectly honest.
