How much of the newsworthiness and outrage is generated by the gender factor? And the race factor?
I'm outraged myself, well, maybe "disturbed" is closer to the truth. Yet, would we be as upset if the security guard was a man, perhaps a much smaller man than the perpetrator? Probably not, right?
