No real update as of now. Cardiologist thinks the heart issues are bc of the stress of other issues. They will do another ekg in the morning. Blood still acidic and everything else is the same. Still waiting for him to be well enough to conduct an mri.
Thanks for all the prayers and please keep them coming.

Chin up.
My son diagnosed with brain tumor at 9yo.
Thanks to God and St. Judes, he is 27, has a job and an apt.
After I gave him to God, I was able to function and participate in the treatment.

Praying for your little cousin and for all of you. Receiving news of a seriously sick child is so frightening to everyone who loves that child. I hope he makes a full recovery.

There are few things worse than hearing this about your child or any child.
It is beyond words shocking. The power of prayer works!
I have a group of ladies that do a Rosary prayer chain. I will add J from Texas.
What were the symptoms that brought him to the hospital if it's not too personal to ask?

Thank you.
He had a mild case of Covid, diagnosed Monday. Thought he was over it (he was feeling great with lots of energy) but started having severe headaches and vomiting last night. We assumed this was some weird Covid rebound but then he lost consciousness. They brought him to the ER and he lost consciousness again. CT scan discovered the mass in his brain.
He is now in a medically induced coma while they stabilize him enough to conduct the mri.

Finally some good news!
They briefly brought him out of the coma enough to check cognitive function and he was able to respond to their requests. They’ve now placed him back under.
His father is now headed home to tell J’s siblings what is going on although he won’t tell them about the brain mass until after they are able to do the MRI.
I can’t imagine how tough that conversation will be for him and J’s siblings. I pray God gives him the words needed to inform and comfort them.

That is good news. I don't know who all is far away from home. I know that mom/parents won't want to leave his side. They usually have only one sleep chair by the child.
But remind the parents about the Ronald McDonald House once needed. They will need to sleep and eat, shower at some point and it is usually very close to the hospital & better communications with the hospital--versus a hotel.
Praying for more good news miracles.
