UPS - Knowing a package is on a truck...

can you pull up and ask the driver for the package while in the area but in another neighborhood? anyone done this?

Why would you put in the effort to do that when the driver will deliver your package 30 minutes later?

because deliver window is 6-8pm and i want the package now. i don't trust them once it gets so late. they ready to go home and leave packages on truck for next day.

Yep. Had that happen last weekend. Package was "out for delivery" for three days.

Was pissed.

I had a ups driver just stick a note on my door saying nobody was home. But they never knocked or rang the doorbell because I was waiting right by the door when they pulled up.

Luckily for me their truck broke down a couple doors down from my house so I went and had them give me my package.

Just make sure you tell the driver how special and important you are and I'm sure it won't be an issue

You can’t let them know you watched them walk up. You have to act surprised when they knock.
