That would be the last two US presidents - as well as many governors, mayors and legislators. Wouldn't you agree?

Low oil prices to liberals is like high taxes to conservatives

It hinders their objective

Low oil and gas prices makes the need for electric vehicles less appealing and urgent. They want prices to be high and see it as a necessary pain to get to their nirvana where we no longer have a need for fossil fuel

They just hate the smell

just object to the OP's insinuation that it's ALL due to the Retard-in-Chief,

where in this thread or any other, did i assert that it was solely Biden’s fault. Link?

I have simply laid out the evidence, the childish ignorant comments from your president, and the responses from the O&G majors.

I’m sorry that the actual short-sighted policies and dumb quotes from Biden being dismantled here upsets you so. Please continue your spin job tho. I’ve got news for you, you’ve got your work cut out for you the next few years.

i don’t think anyone here is or would argue that, we’re simply pointing out that the there is a lot of evidence behind President Biden attempting to deliver on his campaign promise of “I will end fossil fuels” and how those policies are directly/indirectly hurting the American O&G industry, thus worsening the energy costs for American consumers.

I thought all you hacks stayed on the Politard board. Just because I pointed out the the previous president extended a GOM lease ban doesn't mean you have to freak out and get all defensive for him.

Speaking of which...

So rising transportation costs for every conceivable consumer product doesn’t affect you people in Louisiana?

Hmm. Seems the average price of gasoline i In Louisiana . Is higher than In Georgia

So I guess it does affect you people too, and not only in transportation costs of consumer goods

You mean when West Texas Intermediate was $-37/bbl?

It was $-37/bbl his whole presidency?

Yes, I would say that paying people to hold oil for you because you can't sell it on the market is about as low a price as you can get for oil.

It was like that during his whole presidency?

Do you think that was a good thing?

What did I say that made you assume that I thought that $-37/bbl was good… lol

Personally, I think shutting down the entire economy is a shitty way to lower gas prices.

You are correct. Which is the government should have listened to trump when he wanted to reopen things.

Biden would rather kiss the feet of the Islamic radical Saudis than allow an American company to ethically produce energy. November can’t come soon enough.

It’s crazy how few people know that oil is priced on the open market, as a commodity, and not by oil companies.

And that they plan their investments based on the sentiment of the current administration and policy decisions.

Can take 10-15 years from permitting to first production. But It’s nearly impossible to build a new refinery in the US now because of environmental regs. Most capacity addition now is just expansion and debottlenecking of existing refineries. Just saw Mexico built a refinery that cost $18 billion. Now imagine the costs and difficulties of building a new refinery and add on the fact that government and investment banks are telling you they don’t want fossil fuels in 10-15 years and you can see why we are dealing with no spare refining capacity.

Lol. You show that production fell under Trump when production fell for pretty much everything due to the pandemic. That this was your point.
