What a fricking joke
They were cleared by the feds and the state of murder....they have nothing to with if the cops violated procedure. It has been pointed out in the reports that Salamoni probably didn't use the best police protocol in the situation, but he wasn't guilty of murder. I can see justification for firing him.

She is going to fire them to claim that her PD and Chief will uphold the laws.
It's a pony show, and she can blame the State and Feds, and use them for her gain.

Getting fired is the best outcome for these cops. They would never be able to continue to be cops in Baton Rouge, or South Louisiana. Now, they can sue and get compensated well while going into another field, or moving to a smaller community.
