Ripley is only alive because TDCline rescued, fostered and nursed her through parvo. My family loves her, and we will always be grateful that someone valued the lives of 10 abandoned puppies in a Ville Platte ditch.

I remember that thread VERY well — and when I see TDs name I wonder how Stella and Pudge are.

I am from VP — don’t live there now but I was one lf the many many who called the vets office to make a donation to the vets office for the puppy bill. I remember asking if I could hold — she only put the phone down so I could still hear -and when it got to be my turn the lady sounded overwhelmed — it was like 830 or so in the am. I asked her and YES she was indeed overwhelmed with call ins for donations.

I do remember while I was on “hold” I heard someone say that yes they’d call them if there was any balance — I assume someone was going to cover what the OT wasn’t able to raise.

Aww I remember too, how fast the OT paid the vet expenses. It was really sad about the puppies that didn’t make it.

Owlie, I see you.

They hate having their picture taken. Both lay their heads down and push back their ears. Makes it look like we abuse them. Damn canine teenagers.

Awww! Those pups are all good looking dogs now. Ripley is such a funny girl- very affectionate, clumsy and sneaky.

Lol you guys just made my wife’s night. Thanks a ton. We are so glad that some of the pups were able to make it. It definitely sucked that not all of them were able to make it but we are thankful for the ones who pulled through. All info and pictures are welcomed guys. Seriously, that was days of sleepless nights and force feeding them to try to keep them alive. It takes a true POS to do what that person did. You guys driving to the middle of nowhere to help us get these guys adopted are awesome!

She still has loose skin from her “fluid hump.” That’s what saved her!

Pudge’s nickname is Shady cause she is a sneaky girl, too. When we hear an odd noise in the kitchen, we know it’s her. She is extremely affectionate too, when we sit on the sofa she loves to jump on top of us and Roll over for belly scratches. Stella is just a mess, a silly, funny girl who loves to hear her own voice. We constantly laugh at her antics.

And they act just like human sisters, so jealous of when they think one is getting over on the other. But they also love each other very much and are never too far from one another.

Thanks TDCline and your wife for these 3 year of fun and love.
