Shits weak

It’s dark now and you can see Jupiter looking like it normally does and you can clearly see Saturn right next to Jupiter but it’s dim as a wet fart.

No combined brightness. It basically looks like normal Jupiter with a really dim star next to it.

Cool to see them right next to each other but not worth the hype.

It is fairly underwhelming.

But it is over New Iberia from my vantage point. If I follow it I'll find a little baw, with a fade and short bangs lying in a Yeti cooler swaddled in a Salt Life blanket.

I can't see crap in our neighborhood. Too many live oaks in that direction.

Nasa does an incredible job at overhyping solar events. I took the bait and spread it to you all

He'll definitely be in a barn in da berry. Hopefully it's not the same one where folks tend to get blasted.

Beautiful where I am. Just to the right and south of the moon. Use the SkyView app. Works great. Low on the horizon here.

What would be impressive? The light show as the Death Star warmed up for a final hit on your planet?

These things are cooler to astronomy geeks. It was cool enough for me to spend a minute walking out on the deck to see it, so I thank you for the heads up. It is like comets they are nothing spectacular compared to all the crap we see in the modern world on a daily basis but we have to switch gears and see them for what they are. I see a lot of meteorites while sitting outside without the perspective of what they really are they are less impressive than a widebody lining up for landing at MSY.

So while I didn't fall to my knees in wonder it was still cool.
