She just loved beards more than the average woman. Everybody has their preferences just like I like women with long hair so I understand where the OP is coming from.

My mother in law moved to Texas and started cutting her hair like that. Just know, all women become a bitch for some reason when their hair is that short. My condolences OP.

My husband has a beard now. While it certainly doesn’t look bad on him... he knows I prefer him without it. I’ve never been a huge fan of beards on guys.
But I figure at some point he will eventually tire of it and shave it off so I just keep my mouth shut and let him enjoy having a beard right now.
