I love the "'merica frick yea" crowd that suddenly despises the American system when they disagree with it.

I'm sure you'd want your defense attorney and the jury to consider all facts and angles when determining the rest of your life. And if you aren't a complete retard, should appreciate that there has to be someone who will do it for you, according to our laws, including the Constitution.

We must be reading different threads because I haven't seen anyone say that he shouldn't get a trial or be defended.

So people want a defense and to call those who provide that defense scum bags? GTFO

By bashing the attorney, you are implying you disagree with the job he was tasked with. That job of course being providing a criminal defense in court. So, it's either un-American or hypocritical to slander the attorney. I don't care which some of you identify with.

I'm not overly familiar with this incident.. What time were the riding.. Were they in the street? Guy probably deserves time but degrees of fault should play into time sentenced

And to the dumbasses calling out the defense attorney.. Pick up and move to a country where one isn't presumed innocent, one where the defense is given no opportunity.. The gulags await.

No shite. Doesn't mean he's not a complete degenerate scumbag.

he has an obligation as such to raise every possible defense.

So are you saying all lawyers are scumbags?

should no one represent him?

should he even get a trial?

This is horrendous logic. Don't hurt yourself with that reach.

It's the idea that he's attempting to blame the victims when it's so abundantly clear that his client is at fault that makes him a POS. I was on a jury in federal court and actually like the defense attorney better than the prosecution...but his client was still guilty as shite.

I agree with what was said - like it or not, a defense attorney has a legal and ethical obligation to defend his client to the best of his ability, even if his defenses might seem weak, somewhat silly, or even "chicken shite".

So, what? I still think he's a POS for even remotely insinuating that the victims are at fault because they smoked weed sometime within the past month. It isn't as if they had pockets full of drugs.

My logic is flawed? You are displaying the logic of being for defense trials while claiming those who provide that defense should be put in jail as well. That's literally too stupid to discuss.

That's his fricking job, you fool. It's the jury's job to rule based on the arguments presented, and the judge's job to ensure factual arguments are presented for jury consumption.

It's terrifying that people like you are on juries.

Holy shite...are you dumb enough to think there wasn't just a tinge of hyperbole in there? Wow...

Here's the part where you show us where I said he wasn't allowed to defend his client. Go on...we'll wait.

Do we know for a fact that they didn't drift outside of their allotted 3 feet of roadway?
