There has to be something all of these women have in common. Something in their personality or.. I don't know.. There just has to be something that suggest someone is more likely to sleep with a student. Anyone have any ideas?
I’m curious about this as well. How does a grown woman—in a time when these stories are blasted online every time they occur—think it’s okay to frick a teenaged student?
I’m trying to type a few hypotheses but all of them outside of mental illness seem ridiculous. But what is the mental illness?

Either HS boys are a hell of a lot more confident/capable than me at that age or teachers are sending out very clear signs they are DTF that even a 17 year old can pick up on.
If you were in HS pre-smart phone, that may be the difference. It is a lot easier for both to drop hints at arm's length than it is in person.

I'll take a stab. I'd bet that these women were either the ugly duckling in high school or not part of the cool crowd. Now that they're back in school as teachers, they're ready to live out that fantasy that they missed when they were actually in school. Let me be clear: this is a degree of emotional immaturity and recklessness that is almost unfathomable to me, but when you look at how American pop culture has conditioned women to believe that they are princesses whose life should be a fairy tale, it's not shocking that many of them wind up in this situation. They will sacrifice everything they have for what amounts to a fantasy.

She is the epitome of "good from far, but far from good."

In no way am I excusing the teacher's behavior, but 17 year old me would have never had the confidence, or even knowhow, to try to make a move on my 40 year old teacher. If I did, it would have been some awkwardly executed attempt that almost assuredly would have (a) been immediately shut down and (b) gotten me expelled.
Thats exactly why the adult is a felon. They groom those normally awkward kids via talk, texts, and pics. The project their personal life's issue and use a kid to fill the voids...literally.

So you’re the guy who beats your wife and locks her in a room all day while you go to work?
Are you really that stupid to not know , that what you posted screams of weakness and sounds like it comes from someone whose wife cheated on them?

Naw, I just tell her I love her when we get off the phone. Every once in a while I tell her how much I appreciate everything she does and that I’m the luckiest guy alive that she is raising my offspring.
Pretty easy actually.

Right. They are willing to put it all out on the line.
Woman are natural nurturers so that could have something to do with it.

Sweet, summer child. If your wife had whatever proclivity this is to sleep with a student, your professions of love and appreciation would not be the great preventor.

I found this.

Reasons Behind the Behavior
It is essential to understand the reasons behind the behavior of female teachers who engage in sexual abuse. Some common factors include:
Power imbalance: Female teachers may use their position of authority to manipulate and exploit their students.
Emotional attachment: Female teachers may form emotional attachments with their students, leading to a blurring of boundaries and an increased risk of sexual misconduct.
Lack of supervision: Female teachers may feel more comfortable engaging in sexual misconduct due to a lack of supervision or monitoring.
Societal expectations: Female teachers may feel pressure to conform to traditional gender roles, leading them to engage in behaviors that are not typical of women.

No, you implied that this guy wasn't dicking his wife down and that's why she is banging students. It's a pretty retarded train of thought.

Women love attention, if they are not getting it at home they will find it somewhere else. Women reward attention with sex. So, the formula is pretty simple, show a woman attention and get sex. The tricky part is to find the one that’s not getting attention currently so you can fill that void.

Women in general - not just teachers - being depraved sluts is an epidemic.
