Finally. Now let's hope they get convicted.
they got expelled from school

Two New York college students who claimed to be victims of racist attack expelled
University at Albany President Robert J. Jones said in an email to The Albany Times Union Thursday that Ariel Agudio and Asha Burwell were dismissed from the college. A third student, Alexis Briggs, was suspended for two years.

im truly stunned, thought they would skate by on this, at their school at least
Holy shite, this is some gold from that article
"According to the newspaper, the decision to expel the students came from a student disciplinary board, which is separate from the criminal justice system. The students didn’t appear for their March 9 hearing with the student conduct board, claiming a conflict of interest because the school served as judge in the board hearings and a witness in the criminal case."
"Frederick Brewington, Burwell’s lawyer, told the Times Union that the testimony against his client was filled with so-called “Trumpisms.”
"One supporter still contended that the bus video could’ve been “doctored.”
good riddance

The link to the news story in the OP uses Trumpisms. The very last thing it show was the "nasty name" the victim called a white female passenger.

I'm assuming there is some sort of student code of conduct policy that applies. Fairly standard.

Sure it wasn't a crazy suggestion, but we've been on an anti-SJW win streak lately. Missouri is losing students left and right and these girls were expelled from school. The momentum is shifting.

They should have every bone in their body broken.

or boned by their "attackers"
If I were the one's falsely accused, I'd forgive them and ask the University to reinstate them, but with community service and probation. Sure it's fricked up what they did, but they were suffering from "Afro-enza" and were caught up in the victim lifestyle.
Better they be educated than on the streets.
