There was a rumor early on about a former homeless man who did at one time work for the church. He was not a criminal, just homeless. He got back on his feet and moved on to a better job some time ago. His departure was amicable and his decision. He apparently had frequent contact with Ms. Ruth which is why he was part of the conversation early on. I think people conflated Tyson with that man.

Curious if anyone knows anything about Ruth’s family? Haven’t seen anything about kids or a husband. I’ve seen some about Otis’s family, had a niece that lives in Maryland.

Calling this incident a wild accusation means you did a great job of covering this up Mayor Mark. What do I gain by making up a story about a gun at the town pool? You and everyone at city hall and the student workers that were at the pool that day know that it happened and was covered up. My whole point by this post is that you only release the information that you want to and not all information that could help protect the public by being aware of misdeeds in the area. Prayers to the family of the recently deceased, it could have been high school workers at the pool last year was my only point.

I wouldn’t watch the evening news if it was being hosted by Robin Williams and Mickey Mantle so haven’t really kept up with what happened since the bodies were found and it was declared a homicide.

My guess, He was a lowlife POS looking for easy targets to rob and murder. Mrs. Ruth a middle aged white lady who didn't know the meaning of violence and Father Otis who needed a walker to get around were the ones he picked.
Took them somewhere and murdered them, probably Mrs. Ruth first since it's not like Father Otis could get away or do anything. dragged and burnt their bodies thinking he would get away with it. Drove her car afterwards and went and stole shite out the house to sell. Sold some drugs, probably from the home, for a quick buck. and of course never gave a once gave a shite about what he was doing.

The wife (no pics) grew up with a kid of hers and also knew at least of the priest. She says both were genuinely sweet, kind and generous people.
