Even volunteers at playgrounds have to pass background checks these days, crazy that a church/school employee would not have to pass one.

Sounds like this guy was hired by Ruth to do work around her house, which is across from the school. Rumor is they staked out her house and abducted her and the Priest. Someone saw her car being driven around town suspiciously and called Ruth’s daughter, which got the ball rolling
