Have you sat in drug court the last 25 years at all? Judges in LA do everything they can to keep people out of jail. The entire we have everyone in jail for years for a joint is bullshite
Someone I know got busted with over 8 ounces recently coming back from Houston. He spent one night in jail and will get a fine and probation probably but according to Belle he will be serving a life sentence.

Yes it is bullshite. People like Belle and the ones she knights for are pissed because marijuana can be used (legally) to establish probable cause for other searches
And yet it’s regularly being established now in states where it has been legalized that they can’t use odor of marijuana as probable cause, because consumption of marijuana is no longer a crime in those states. Colorado Supreme Court has overturned convictions based on that premise as well.
So yeah, I’m going to “knight” for not violating the 4th Amendment.

How about we send Rapin-hoe over there next

Now you’re just being hyperbolic.

She broke another country's laws, and if you don't see the irony of begging the country you regularly shite own for help, you too are as biased as you are accusing others of being.

Jesus...go read your first post in this thread and tell me who is hyperbolic and I like how you ignore me proving you wrong about your own drug laws in KY that you were pretending to have a firm grasp on.

Possession of cannabis is a maximum sentence of 10 days in Russia. She is getting 10 years because they are charging her with drug trafficking. She had less than a gram of oil.

Eh, not really. We’ve excessively punished folks for small level possession and LEOs have regularly used “do I smell marijuana” as a gateway to violate the 4th Amendment. Now if you want to compare detainment conditions and general due process, I can go with that (to a degree). I just think it’s not a great “gotcha” given our own history of prosecution for marijuana
Same day, new stupid take.
Keep digging yourself deeper. The next step is obviously going to be a “mental health” episode to garner sympathy.

I do have a firm grasp. It’s a Class D felony here still, even with minimal jail time. That’s excessive, just as I said.
Do we really need to go into the list of things that are restricted when you’re a felon?

doubling down on a weak comparison

It can still be used if the person is high and driving just like suspicion of alcohol and driving.
You are all over the place. Just take the L and admit your take was bad and you were wrong about the laws even in your own state. You're just digging a deeper hole as you go.

You’re so angry over some shite from the Olympic board, it’s sad.

Every business trip I went on over there (middle east) they drilled this into our Teams heads. Don't act up because they will absolutely arrest you and they won't be nice about it.

I know a couple of people in LE and often it doesn't even get to this stage. Most LE don't even care about MJ possession and turn a blind eye. Now if you're carrying weapons, etc along with that marijuana then that's another story.

I literally linked you the law for KY. Anything under 8 ounces is a misdemeanor.
Do you think KY is handing out Class D felonies for first-time offenders walking around with a vape pen of MJ?

Weed where I live is still technically illegal, but I've known some low level dealers that get busted and they never prosecute - they just make them pack their bags and leave town. IDK what the enforcement is like where you live, but here it's certainly not a felony - even if you're a dealer.
Russia, apparently, takes the matter more seriously. Fine - it's their country. Why are you crying about this? BG fricked up - let her go to prison. I don't care.
She's not some national hero. I hadn't thought about this person at all - until she got busted for weed in Russia. I seriously don't care what happens to her - it's her problem - not mine.

And you’re suggesting she’s being charged for just possession of a vape pen when the charge is for trafficking.

Tells you a lot about druggies that they are willing to risk 10 years in prison for drug trafficking so little of their preciuous drugs.
We dont want people like that in society, so sounds good. 10 years.
