To be fair, your take was really stupid. No one getting arrested for small amounts of MJ in America is spending time in jail unless they are breaking probation or something.

We all know this is coming from Biden and those in charge. I hope it just pisses off the relatives of anyone in the USA serving time, or on ridiculously expensive probation for weed.

saw some blurb but didn't read the article yet about the commies threatening to leave on of our guys in the ISS, don't know what that's about but that should piss a few people off

People are saying if WNBA players were paid the same as NBA players then she would never have had to play in Russia to make ends meet so this is totally America's fault

Yea. Then she could have stayed in this shitty country that oppresses her and she could have broken laws and been celebrated as a nation treasure and hero instead of going to jail.

I really wish Jesus would hurry up and come back. I'm sure I'm not quite ready but good lord I'm more ready than some of these brain dead loons.

ETA: Sorry God, I didn't mean to call your retarded children on the left "brain dead loons".

Eh, not really. We’ve excessively punished folks for small level possession and LEOs have regularly used “do I smell marijuana” as a gateway to violate the 4th Amendment.

Now if you want to compare detainment conditions and general due process, I can go with that (to a degree). I just think it’s not a great “gotcha” given our own history of prosecution for marijuana.

but she wasn't here, she broke the laws of another country while in that country

Most states will give you a small fine like a traffic ticket for small amounts now days. You're just making shite up now.

That's irrelevant. I've traveled to some of the most strict places on planet earth places like UAE, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Singapore etc and I came home fine because I obeyed their laws and didn't act like a fool. Good riddance to her.

Answer the man’s question, BluegrassBelle. Unless, of course, you would just rather admit you were talking out of your arse.

Since it’s apparently a wide spread problem here in the US, link one of the many stories of a first time offender getting a 9.5 year sentence for a vape pen.

I’m not.

Drug possession here in Kentucky is still a felony, which carries its own weight beyond just imprisonment. Louisville Metro had considered not prosecuting for smaller amounts but has been taken to court by the AG for it.

Some states are legal. Some states will very much still throw the book at you.

This is such an overblown topic repeated over and over by the media.

Have you sat in drug court the last 25 years at all? Judges in LA do everything they can to keep people out of jail. The entire we have everyone in jail for years for a joint is bullshite

Yes it is bullshite. People like Belle and the ones she knights for are pissed because marijuana can be used (legally) to establish probable cause for other searches. And when you find guns during those searches and Jointman has a felony on his record, well shite tends to not go well for him.

We are talking about a vape pen of MJ. You are trying to tie MJ to all drugs and you are wrong even about your own state which again means your take is bad and wrong.

Possession of less than 8 ounces of cannabis for personal use is a misdemeanor in Kentucky, punishable by up to 45 days in jail and $250 in fines.

Exactly. Back in the 90s Michael Fey spray painted a few cars in Singapore and got 83 days in Jail and was give 4 strikes with a Cain. He wasn't caught red handed and never admitted he did it.

Can you imagine the outrage if this would be happening to Griner? People did get upset about the Fey caning and it made national news but Bill Clinton did nothing to get him released and brought back to the US.

Moral of the Story, don't do stuff you can get away with in the USA that other countries wont tolerate because you are an American. They want nothing more to make an example out of you.
