Oh, I get that. Sincerely. It's way different than what the mind says to do. But I'm just not so convinced he had a hand in her harm. Now, does he know? Probably. But he's getting advice that is certainly self-preserving. That may be tremendously hard to comprehend but he's likely a few eggs short of an omelet. His silence could very well be exactly what is required to avoid the gallows. You know what I mean.

On this note, it's not very often the Feds get involved/play a lead role in adult missing persons cases from what I've read/seen. Almost always involves adolescents or extreme violence with hard evidence to help trace an offender down. Vanishes without a trace are rarely if ever FBI cases for adults.

Maybe legally depending on the jury. But if she killed herself intentionally or overdosed? Then I tend to view the person committing suicide or putting fentanyl into the drugs as responsible.
