Y’all are right there’s no reason to think he’s done anything wrong. Maybe he’s looking for Gabby out there. He took a two week rest after his trip home without her and is ready to start looking again,

If this were a shitty movie he'd blow his brains in the swamp while she makes her way back to civilization in Wyoming dehydrated and starved because he didn't quite finish the job and split without realizing she was still barely alive. But it ain't a movie.

Exactly, the majority of post here are speculation. The majority of speculation is that he killed her, but there’s plenty of reason to believe he did judging by his actions since returning home.

In my last post, I changed my idea and I speculated it might have been aliens. Does that mean that I can see myself as ET instead of a psychopathic killer? I think I would rather be an alien. And all the people that say it is cut and dried, do they see themselves as 5’ 5” 110 pound blond girls?

Maybe law enforcement and his parents are protecting him from her, or trying to get her to reveal her whereabouts. I know it’s highly unlikely-she’s the most likely victim, but according to their accounts of her hitting him and her behavior on video...She really seems to be suffering from more than anxiety and OCD.
