It's just a really long camping trip.

There's also a lot of damn people too.

And very few roads.

You aren't getting away from anyone that time of year.

I mean you can if you try hard enough and go off the main trails, but I agree its hard to escape people staying in the main areas.

I'm very surprised if she is dead that she hasn't been found. They don't seem like the type that are hardcore back country people. Especially with the current publicity and eyes likely pealed.

Out here, it can be. You see people walking around carrying massive packs on their backs and looking like they haven't showered in days and it's hard to know whether it's a "traditional" or "non-traditional" camper.

There's at least one road just outside of town where the cops turn a blind eye to the old, beat up RVs and campers that stay parked there. I'd be shocked if half of them run, but I guess that's not technically "homeless".

C'mon man

We had posters here off the main trails this summer. I know this board has people everywhere and there's a lot of us but I think you'd have to be the luckiest SOB to dispose of her body in that area.

It was fricking so busy there this summer. Record year they were saying in June when I went.

But fine, if you really really tried hard enough and you had it in you then ok. Did he have it in him?

We are talking astronomical odds though. Please give me that

A warrant for what? At this point he hasn't really done anything but maybe stole her car.

My theory is getting stronger. He left her and the killer of the couple has got her/killed her.

Still pretty weird tho. I guess if he saw the body he may have been scared he was going to jail but where would he have seen the body? It would have to be somewhere he knew to look which means others would have seen it.

There's a tiki tok video of a couple picking him up.

There's a tik tok video of some tik tok-ers claiming they picked him up, which is not exactly the same thing.

Thanks for straightening out my loose words.

They’ll need some “evidence” from his van then get a warrant. He would still able to not talk in a interrogation. Which is what he’s doing now. Can they find something?? I don’t know the details of law.

I'm assuming you are talking about Yellowstone/ GTNP?

Yes I agree with those. But I'm talking "in that area" as in not necessarily in the parks. Well under 60 mins from the Jackson Damn where he was supposedly last seen there is easy access to tons of National Forrest land that is also easier to camp on than the national parks. Most National Forests you can camp on the side of the road almost anywhere.

Also, if someone was wise, Yellowstone has quite a few pull offs with steep huge cliffs. Wouldn't be that hard to pull off and wait for a quiet time, dump the body off a cliff, and go.

It would seem like she could be considered a missing person at this point and, since he was the last person seen with her and now has her vehicle and is over 2500 miles away from where she was last seen, it would seem like they could charge this douchebag with something.

I get that they can't. But it isn't like he left her in a bar or somewhere else in a town or city. Abandoning someone under circumstances like this should be criminal.

All I can say is, after the lawyering up and refusing to talk to police or do anything else to help locate her plays out, he better hope that she's alive...whether he killed her or not.

I  would assume because she was abusive and nuttier than squirrel turds.

Based on that police bodycam sure but I'm trying to figure out why police would tell her family to not talk about GP and BL's relationship. That doesn't make sense to me if true.

I understand what your saying which is why I mentioned him stealing the car. It might not stick but he could be arrested for it.

There's no body yet so murder is out for now.

It's not a crime to abandon someone unless it led to harm. Then manslaughter which is still out because of no body.

It's also his constitutional right to remain silent so what choice do they really have?

Being a lowdown scummy sumbitch ain't a crime.
