it would seem like she could be considered a missing person at this point and, since he was the last person seen with her and now has her vehicle and is over 2500 miles away from where she was last seen, it would seem like they could charge this douchebag with something.

The only people saying it was her car are her parents. It may have been jointly owned at which point what can cops do?

Also, if someone was wise, Yellowstone has quite a few pull offs with steep huge cliffs. Wouldn't be that hard to pull off and wait for a quiet time, dump the body off a cliff, and go.

That's where I'm leaning.

which is why I mentioned him stealing the car. It might not stick but he could be arrested for it.

And bonded out quickly.

So, no point to it. They want something with real leverage.

This has Natalie Holloway written all over it. Meaning it’s going to drag out with no evidence. No body. If anything family’s always want the body if she is dead.

Eh these two don't seem to have their shite together very well, I'd be surprised if they bought it together. Its easier to buy something as a single person then for two dipshits to do it as a combined effort.

Now he may have been paying her for it and for all intents and purposes thought it was "combined", except for legally.

But if it wasn't his then the police wouldn't need a search warrant.

Posting this again bc she posted a new video. You should be able to watch the videos right in your browser. You do not have to have a special app or account.

This girl claims she picked up BL as a hitchhiker on August 29. She says her and her boyfriend only drove him about 10 miles. There are 4 videos posted. Watch the third one (top line, far right) first. Says she has been cooperating with authorities.

Claims to be a witness

Well we can toss out that theory that he’s a serial killer now

That article has the TikTok clips (the links on previous pages made you download the app to view).

Based on what the chick says, they picked him up and drove him 10 miles towards Jackson, he got out presumably to head back towards the van and Gabby.

His story was he had been solo for several days hiking/camping while she worked on social media stuff at the van.

Crackpot Theory: they split for a few days to do their own thing, he gets back to the van and discovers her missing. Perhaps signs of foul play around the van so he is afraid to call the police and be named the suspect. He hangs out for a day, maybe looks nearby for her, no sign of her, no messages from her, vanish without a trace.

Calls his parents, they recommend he comes home so they can protect him, get lawyer, etc.

The person who abducted her saw from her phone that she was in constant contact with her mom so they sent a few texts to buy time.

She is currently in some underground bunker near Big Sky MT awaiting to be sold as a sex slave.

Police have obtained his phone records corroborating his whereabouts and efforts to contact her when he discovered she was missing, and her phone records corroborating the texts to her mom were made from a different location than the boyfriend who was halfway across the country.

This information is being kept quiet while they search for the abducter hoping he lets his guard down and doesn't kill her and dispose of the body.

BL definitely comes across as an acid guy. could be they get to GTNP on the 27th, decide to trip at the campsite, and something went wrong. would explain BLs confusion as to north/south jackson/ jackson hole and him offering $200 (which is strange). conversation and concepts like money are difficult when tripping, and he would've been especially disoriented if something crazy went down while peaking

eta: this is pure conjecture but reddit did dig up where he had pics of blotter paper etc on his pinterest and tumblr, and GPs instagram highlights showed her roasting a bone while driving down the hwy in colorado as well as a package of edibles

Yep. And add in the fact that he could have killed her in Wyoming, Utah, Idaho or somewhere between there and Florida.

I don't know what people expect Florida police to arrest the man for.

It's also his constitutional right to remain silent so what choice do they really have?

The only choice I have is whether to give him the benefit of the doubt(which I've been trying to do) but I think it's probably time to look at him as a guilty POS. Not that my opinion matters or anything.

But the eyes of the court can't be looking too favorably at his actions either right now.

That's why I feel like he better be praying that she's alive. But (barring a hoax) if he thought that she was alive, you'd think that he'd be more than happy to be talking right now.

ETA that even if it was some elaborate hoax, it would be past time to let the cat out of the bag for him(and her). So, she's dead and he knows this. Whether he killed her or not.

He clearly pulls his phone out later in front of the police, so he wasn't talking about at that moment. but, at the moment prior when he and his gf were having their argument.

I mentioned it last night but will mention again:
He didn’t know his phone number. When the officer asked, he had to pull up the phone and show him the screen. How does a social media guy not know his number?
It was a burner, perhaps.

Would a guy that refuses to drink water from plastic bottles be likely to use burner phones?

We don't even know if he has a data plan.

It could be an old phone and he's using a text app and the # is new to him.

Seems they needed wifi to use their phones. Lots of speculation.
