Did we ever find out who killed the lesbians? I haven't heard anything else about it so I guess it wasn't Laundrie.

They said early on the cases were not related which means there is still a killer out there somewhere.

Any post that starts with

is usually a real winner.

Depending on how wet it got, the notebook hopefully will solve all of this.

The difference is that Scott Peterson is alive and Laundrie is more than likely dead.

Yep. Peterson is alive and he fairly recently was getting unemployment checks sent to him in prison because our government is so damn incompetent at pretty much anything they attempt to do.

There are killers out there everywhere.

As a former homicide detective this is going about like I planned. No confirmed sightings. He's been dead for weeks IMO.

Furthermore, let’s not act like the police was on top of this from the beginning. The police really didn’t solve shite here, the media and luck did everything for them.

This is just laughable

What do you know about homicide/missing people investigations? What do you know about the condition of the environment where he and his belongings were found???

Now take what you THINK you know and multiply it by 75% because that is probably closer to the amount of actual information that you have

Blows my mind that y’all think you’re better at this and have more knowledge about this shite than the professionals who have been hands on since the beginning

Yeah, this thread is a definite interesting read on bias and how it plays a hand in predicting outcomes.

I totally get discussing possible scenarios and outcomes.. it’s entertaining, I get that. But when you start preaching your opinion as gospel, especially when you don’t know shite about what’s going on - besides what the media( ) tells you, you really need to shut your mouth

I'd like to know more about the area in which the bag, backpack, notebook and remains were found and the timeline of some things.

BL was gone 3 or 4 days before the parents reported him missing and told authorities where he went for the hike.

The parents' attorney leads us to believe the parents told the authorities of areas he frequented, but we don't know when they told them (or even if).

We don't know if this area was under water when BL wondered into the park or the water came after, but before the search began.

Assuming the parents previously told the authorities about this area as insinuated by their attorney, why didn't they search it when the water was gone before they reopened the park?

Don't know that it makes any difference at all at this point, but I'm curious of the timeline on this and what really happened between the parents and the authorities.

Interestingly, some of the law enforcement agencies held a press conference earlier today at the park. I watched it. It was purely to give kudos to all the agencies who have been involved and to point out how difficult and treacherous the area is in addition to the hours of manpower expended in the search. It sounded somewhat CYA to me which made me more curious.

ETA: When the presser ended with no questions and no other info, you could hear the reporters commenting and they were not happy at all because they were expecting some substantive news. Some were complaining about coming out there for it.
