I agree that it’s pretty obvious to everyone that he killed himself over killing Gabby but it is always important to remain impartial and not rush to judgement before knowing all the facts. For all we know, he could’ve been on the run then got attacked by a gator and left to die.
If we were a jury, this would be important.
But we aren't. We just guess at the most likely outcome. And most of the time, that's accurate.
Now he's dead, and she's dead, we will only get the parents information which will never be good enough to be 100% sure.

I don't see his parents giving out any substantive info if they have any. There's really no good reason for them to speak out if he's dead. Their attorney may issue some general statement, but I don't see any other details forthcoming from them. Maybe the notebook has some answers that will be released.

They cant be considered accessories after the fact?

For what? They took police to where they thought he might be...and they found him.

Not sure - that’s why I asked
I guess when they left him at the preserve they assumed he was coming home …

That would be pretty awesome if that happened

Gabby was pretty much choked to death...how ironic would it be if he was squeezed to death by one of those giant anacondas...

Accessories to what? The warrant for using the credit card was issued after he disappeared. He may have already been dead by the time the warrant was issued for all we know. There was no warrant regarding Gabby's death.
Maybe a criminal attorney knows something else. He wasn't charged with anything while at his parents' home.

He was free to go wherever he wanted at that time. I don't know if they took him or he drove there, but it doesn't matter.

I am assuming they know he killed Petito (my assumption, they may not know) - so I’m assuming they took him to the preserve on purpose
Isn’t that helping a criminal or something?
I could be wrong, which is why I asked

No way his Parents get charged. It's over. They lost their son. That's enough punishment.

I agree - I wasn’t hoping they’d get charged - I was simply wondering
They’re probably suffering on many different levels

They say he left to go for a hike in the reserve. So far, there's no evidence we know of that disputes that. Assuming the remains are his, they did a pretty bad job of hiding him if that's the case, which I doubt. They reported him missing and told the police where he went and that's exactly where the remains have been found, assuming again they are his remains.
He's dead and the parents are going to tell what they did or didn't know in all likelihood, so unless there's something in the notebook, this may be all we ever know for sure.

That doesn’t really make sense. Incels like girls on the internet and TV. The incel army would be the people who made a 526 page thread about a girl they didn’t know existed until she was dead.

This is what every person begging to see the parents charged with something always fails to understand.
I used this scenario in this thread before:
Let's sat there was a murder, much like this one, with little solid evidence and you're named a "person of interest". Let's then say that the murder case goes cold for months or even years. Using some of this logic, during those years following the murder anyone anywhere who helps you do anything could be guilty of aiding and abetting or being an accessory after the fact.
A person of interest is not equal to being a wanted suspect. A person of interest has no restrictions on their movements or rights. Anyone could help you go anywhere in the world you want.
Now, destroying evidence or outright lying to protect someone you know is guilty is a different story. Still, we have that little issue of being able to prove what someone knew and when they knew it. If they do not speak to police, it is hard to get caught in a lie and have what you say be used against you.

So this a-hole killed himself? Typical.

I thought incels felt that they were treated poorly/unfairly by girls and society discriminated against them as men and these women lived privileged lives. They seem hostile to women due to their misfortune attracting women and act as victims.

I thought he drove to the preserve and then they had to go get his vehicle when it had apparently been abandoned.
