He could have been upset over not being able to stop someone from murdering Gabby.

Again, I implore most of you not to serve on juries.

Maybe he was hiding out in the swamp and a gator got him. Explanation for why the body was underwater?

I agree that it’s pretty obvious to everyone that he killed himself over killing Gabby but it is always important to remain impartial and not rush to judgement before knowing all the facts. For all we know, he could’ve been on the run then got attacked by a gator and left to die.

him being alive would likely provide more answers

I think just the opposite. It's better he's dead.

He would've lawyered up, plead not guilty, drug Gabby's family thru a trial with pics of Gabby, got convicted, and never ever answer the family's questions whether then or at re-opened-wound parole hearings or until he dies in prison. This happens 75% of the time.

Whereas, forensics will provide all the answers the family will ever get without the trauma/grief from a salt-in-wound circus of him trying to prove his innocence by assassinating her character.

Not much info from the presser. Human remains have been found. A backpack and notebook belonging to BL were also found in an area previously covered by water. They will continue to investigate in that area.

If he's dead, with what would they charge them?

I hope the notebook wasn't ruined and it contains info on what happened.
