Well apparently Yosemite and Yellowstone get mixed up all the time. It could have been that she was confused.

I'm trying to be open-minded about his innocence that maybe she died from an overdose, accidental fall, or walked-off/killed -by-a-stranger...

Another interesting thing to know would be if the boyfriend called or texted her once they split. If he didn't that would be another circumstantial piece of evidence that he knew she was dead. Of course his defense would be they broke up and cut off all communication.

Also. If she sent a text that said “no service” it’s highly likely that the text sent at some point after, when the phone actually got service, so the text could actually have been sent at some point prior to it actually going through.
