And the next step has to be forensics to establish a cause of death, drug screen, and antemortem trauma.

So, barring BL being found we may have real information in another 24-48 hours including the cause of death.

Yep.

Though, some people want to charge him and his parents right now.

According to cadaver dog trainers and one study of 2 dogs.

Love the junk science that flies as fact in a prosecution’s case.

I know we can’t agree exactly what happened to Gabby and the level of Brian’s involvement, but can we all agree rebel cat is one weird mofo?

You mean like the cop who "smells marijuana"? Fortunately, some states are starting to see that for the bullshite that it is. There is no way for an officer to prove in the court of law that he smelled something. Using that as probable cause is just bullshite.

Yes, she admitted to hitting him causing him to hit the curb, which is on camera.

He also admitted to pushing her - and he even says that he knows he shouldn’t have

So the LEO has no idea what really happened - and who instigated. He has marks but that doesn’t mean he didn’t push first. And that’s why I think Gabby didn’t go to jail that day.

If a dogs handler wants it to find something in a specific spot it will "find" it.

Using dogs to locate a body is fine as you actually find evidence.

Claiming a dog barked or wagged its tail because it supposedly smelled something that cannot be verified is ridiculous and should not be allowed as evidence.

Oh so tonight the OT is going down the "police dogs are bad" rabbit hole.

No way....they wouldn't do that, would they?

I once watched a stop of an SUV on Live PD. It was raining and the wind was blowing 10-15mph. The people in the vehicle wouldn't give consent to search it. Ol' baw officer requested a K9 unit. The other officer trotted the dog around the vehicle for all of 20 seconds, told the stopping officer that the dog "alerted", and they dragged the two people out of the car. The dog was on camera the entire time. It never did anything to alert.

The show left the scene. When they came back, the two people were back in the SUV and were pulling off.

The body cam footage makes it very clear that the reason she didn’t go to jail is because she answered the question correctly about whether she intended to harm Brian. That question was clearly laid out for her and she was guided to the answer. Also, the cops said they felt it was more of a mental health issue than a domestic disturbance issue.

ETA: In other words, nothing happened that day that made Brian look suspect. Doesn’t mean he didn’t kill her later.

Also it's because she's a female...namely a cute, white, 100-lb female.

Meh. Good, bad....whatever.

What is literally up for debate in the courts is that they are imperfect and probably shouldn't be relied on for stuff like probable cause.

I’m confused. You’ve never smelled marijuana?

Back the blue bro.

Had a deputy threaten to bring his dog out to search my car once. (Pulled over for a license plate light being out) I told him to go for it as all he would smell was McDonalds fries.

Finally allowed to go after 45 minutes.

It was my work hooptie at the time.

I came here to get the scoop and I have to sift through pages of people arguing about police dogs.

So, how far away was the body found from the location that the van was seen in the video where people were saying somebody was out in a field?

Once again, you likely aren't digging a grave in that area of the country. The ground is hard, rocky, full of roots and just generally not conducive to grave digging.

A dried out snow melt creek may be a little more conducive than typical ground around there. Probably terrible still but a little easier.
