Don't talk to the cops. It can't help you. They're under no obligation to help you.

Ok

Except if he’s innocent, he shouldn’t have anything to be worried about. Tell your story, he should have at least something showing where he was and could back up his side of things. Shouldn’t really be that hard.

So no innocent person has ever been convicted of a crime?

Come on

Sure. What are the odds though? Extremely small. Dude just has to tell his story if he isn’t guilty of anything.

Depending on who you're talking to, I'm white or hispanic or a hispanic white male, so I guess - maybe?

It isn't hard to find numerous cases where this very thing happened, and it isn't a "person of color" thing as one poster is trying to suggest. It is a reality. Denying it doesn't change that fact.

All you ignorants saying he should talk to the cops

Look up the true story of gone girl in California. There is a good documentary on it

Power tripping interrogators are not your friends.

And what exactly would he have to gain by doing so?
If he keeps his mouth shut, all you have is suspicion
If he talks, he can only create problems for himself

Legally, there's literally nothing he can say that can help his case. Nothing at all

Makes a lot of sense. This is why minorities have such bad experiences with cops.

That’s how black women say it. I’m not racist.

I’m not saying he should or shouldn’t do it. Someone earlier said he wouldn’t want to be home because the cops may come by. I was just saying, what reason would he have to be afraid enough to “run” from the cops If he didn’t have anything to hide.

I'll be honest, I'm an equal opportunity to hater. I'm not looking for some ugly arse crackhead, but a cute little blonde woman? Yeah, sure. Let's go!

Good idea. Cracking open a cold one now. Enjoy the game.

Something that I don’t think I’ve seen mentioned here is that, the cops were so focused on GP’s behavior and bro-ing it up with BL at the traffic stop, not only did GP get off without a citation, BL also didn’t get a ticket for going 45 in a 15 & Hitting a curb during the stop.

See above, repeatedly.
