Ok so just say you don’t want to talk to police? You’re over complicating things. It’s just kinda bizarre that you think it’s a GOOD idea to run from the cops when they are looking for you.

I tried to look up BL’s parents to see what their story was. Originally I looked up what their names were, mostly to see if BL was a junior and if it was possible he and Dad share the same name, which would complicate traveling records (flights).
BL’s name is Brian Christopher Laundrie
His dad’s name is Christopher Laundrie and I wouldn’t be able to find info too much on him even if I tried, I’m sure. However I did just read the police report and the man who called in the original dispute in the Moonflower Co-op was Christopher, with last name redacted in the report. Pretty popular name though, and surely no connection but ... makes you say hmm

Wife told me that two of the employees who worked at the place that called the cops have subsequently been found dead. It’s not in anything I’ve read so far though?
Any truth to that?

Is this the longest thread ever on the OT?

All you ignorants saying he should talk to the cops
Look up the true story of gone girl in California. There is a good documentary on it
Power tripping interrogators are not your friends.
Watch the interrogations of Brendon Dassey in "Making a Murderer" if you want to see real POS cops in action. The kid is an inbred retard that they make say what they want him to say.

Except if he’s innocent, he shouldn’t have anything to be worried about. Tell your story, he should have at least something showing where he was and could back up his side of things. Shouldn’t really be that hard.

They weren’t looking for him when he hit the trails. He is a free man. They’re only looking for him NOW that his parents have reported him missing.
And even now, officially they’re looking for him as a missing person not as a suspect. So yes it not a good idea to just voluntarily go squawking to the police

I don't think they both worked there. One did, and she wasn't there when the police were called.

I’ll say it again. It’s not a good idea to run from the cops.

Yes but I would just think it’s more risky to go for a hike than stay home
If he’s not found in that nature preserve thing - someone probably picked him up (possibly Gabby) or he was eaten by an alligator

The cops weren't looking for him, so he wasn't running from them. They're only looking now because his parents asked them to.

Oh wow, that’s still fricked up.
Thanks for clearing it up. I was thinking that sounded way too nefarious

If I recall correctly from about 80 pages ago, one worked at the Moonflower Co-op and had gotten off work about 1.5 hrs before the domestic disturbance that prompted “Christopher” to call the cops. The other worked at a coffee shop in Moab where BL and GP had spent close to six hours one day(can’t remember what day)

Someone said before:
“He wouldn’t want to be sitting at home because the cops may come by”
Meaning, in his mind, he’d basically be running from the cops.

When he left, nobody was looking for him. He already had his attorney tell them he will not be talking with them. Apparently his parents asked the cops to search for him. If he has a firearm in a state park, with no ccw, he can be arrested.

What someone on a message board says doesn't have any bearing on the reality of the case.

That was me and I never said run from the cops.
Not being where the cops can come around and try to talk to you anytime without a warrant is desirable. That doesn’t mean he’s “on the run” as he has no legal obligation to remain in frequent contact with the cops.
