Isn't a guy ACTIVELY SHOOTING AT POLICE a bit more than a "hostage situation" at such point?

Baker.

What a disgusting place.

...just curious, if placed strategically, could the blast radius of a tactical nuke THEORETICALLY engulf Baker, miss the Zoo, yet shave a side of bacon off of Gravy (at his momma house)?

THEORETICALLY, I says.

not sure exactly what i'm looking at in the pic. is it common to for cops to drive 20 ft from a car with an active shooter/hostage situation?

never said it was ok. we're dealing with a murderer on the run dude. this argument is about damning the murderer. of course everything he's doing is in the god damn wrong.

I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with all of the specific recommended police tactics in such a situation. But, I'm not the one criticizing them in this situation or suggesting there was one much better alternative that they just, for some strange reason apparently, decided to ignore.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that area with a guy wildly shooting at everyone around him. I'm not clear what the supposed alternative is at that point or what you think they were supposed to do after "calling for SWAT."

well the actions of the officers and tactics used seems to suggest that keeping the baby alive wasn't high on the priority list. Anyone have links to videos?

What specific different actions of the police would have better insured that, in your estimation?

Are you sure that the baby's wounds were gunshot related? What if it shows that the "father" dropped the baby on its head and it sustained severe head trauma and then its condition deteriorated this morning?

What if the father was threatening to shoot the baby in the head while using it as a shield?

Do the actions and tactics of officers differ in your mind in these two scenarios?

Keep a non threatening distance away from suspect while it was a known hostage situation going on w a damn baby. Storming up and unloading into vehicle seems non ideal
