some of the wealthiest areas of Shreveport
I guess there are some old money places in SPort, but there's also a predominance of urban blight and straight up ghettos in many of the areas I visited during the 2 weeks of tornado restoration I did up there last year.

Hell, the company wouldn't let us stay in Shreveport proper despite having available chain hotels close to our work center--they shipped us out to a Bossier City hotel every night.

Southeast of Shreveport - the southern loop area, is where the money is.

Made my kids get in the closet when I saw the footage from carthage. That’s usually a bad track for south shreveport. Wife rolled in from being gone all day and proceeded to freak.

2+ hours and about 110 miles later, the tornado warning has finally been allowed to expire for the storm that moved through the Shreveport area.

The tornado warning for the storm SE of Shreveport was just canceled. The storm was warned for over 2 hours and 100 miles.

That 5-10 minute drive in from Shreveport can be taxing.

Got pumped when I saw the guide say Twister was coming on CMT today then when I turned it on CMT pulled Twister and was showing something else because of the storms this week. Have we really gotten that soft. We can’t show an awesome movie because some bad tornadoes went through a few places. Something that happens all the time.

That warned cell straight south of little rock has some significant rotation.

Read that the HRRR had the cape basically disappearing after 8 pm CST in north MS but that air has basically been untapped so it’ll be interesting to see what these cells do as they move into it
