Yes, but my sister lives in Moundville so I know North and Central AL pretty well. Alabama is like a second home to me.

What happened to the line of storms forming on the frontal boundary? Nothing is in forecast for here now. Not even rain.

A Florence, AL police officer is being treated after brief struck by lightning. He is awake and alert and being treated for burns.

Lightning is so weird. Some folks get instadeath and others are mostly unscathed.

Saw some video of Pelham and Lake Purdy. Pretty significant damage.
