It is possible the coroner has confirmed kicks to the head, possibly even tying it to the defendant's shoes but it would likely not be released at this point.

coroner stated cause of death was blunt force trauma to head. What this will boil down to is kick vs. fall and if any witness is credible. If they can prove the old man was kicked in the head after he was already punched in the face and knocked to the ground , than this dude is severely fricked. if it is proven that the old man hit his head on the ground after being punched and was not kicked, he still fricked but not nearly as bad, the absence of the kicks can sort remove the intent to brutally beat or injure him. If they prove the kick(s) hes 100% done

Yeah I could see this too
There are just some people that "get that look in their eye" when they are hammered. Thank god I am not like that and I find it fascinating the reasoning behind that "look".
btw my friend saying this isn't close with him at all just played a lot of pick up games at the U rec.
