Like the guy who killed Robert Kennedy?
Though now I think they are claiming CIA brainwashing.

Janie...The old man lived his life, he knew what he was getting into...I say...let him crash

I'm not very familiar with that story. This just makes me think of some of the dumb shite that I did when I was younger. I've been in bar fights smashed drunk a few times when I was in college.

No, no we haven't. 99% of the people I know have never done this. It's a really stupid thing to do, plain and simple. A lot of people know that without the need to experience how stupid it is firsthand.

Naturally, it's probably hard for you to believe there are responsible drinkers out in the world. I understand you weren't brought up with good habits in life.

Not from the last book I read on it.

Let me see...
quote:

The man convicted of assassinating Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 was brainwashed into shooting him by a mysterious girl in a polka dot dress, his lawyers have claimed.
In a bizarre twist more than forty years after the high-profile killing, lawyers for Sirhan Sirhan, the Palestinian man convicted of the shooting, have submitted new evidence which they say shows their client was manipulated by the mystery girl and had no sense of what he was doing.

"I thought that I was at the (rifle) range more than I was shooting at any person, let alone Bobby Kennedy," Mr Sirhan told a hypnotist hired by his legal team to interview him about the murder. "I didn't know that I had a gun."

Though, if you read about the original trial, the tried to plead guilty and asked to be executed.

Rohypnol = roofies. They are bad.

Ghb was too but that's before a lot of people's times.

Both of the above became known as date rape drugs and they disappeared quick. Ghb was legal when I was in high school.

This was in the 90's....all of what you mentioned was easily available and wasn't yet know as date rape drugs yet

A lot of people are squares.

A lot of people are alive without ever living.

If you've never listened to the sun rise at 6am after a good trip, you haven't lived

I had square friends. I married a square. Nothing wrong with it. In fact it's probably better to live that way.
Though you learn a lot when you aren't you.

Doing drugs is pretty square. It's not really new or daring even though I'm sure a lot of people think it's edgy and cool.

I think tiggerthetooth is Steve Carrell in 40 Year Old Virgin before he branches out with his new friends and girlfriend.

Definitely framed a poster of Asia.

I don't do drugs because I have too much responsibility in life these days, but I think a lot of people do it because its fun and feels good.

Maybe if we took care of our poor they would go away.

But we do. We do through our taxes, non profits, and charities (religious and non). A simple Google maps search shows numerous homeless shelters sprinkled throughout BR.

Help is there if they want it. Panhandlers and beggars don't want help. They want to get fricked up and they will be a nuisance as long as morons keep giving them cash.

You want to help the poor? Donate food and clothes to a shelter. Stop giving cash to bums who beg outside of Target.
