I tend to believe he will just sit in jail for the rest of his life. If he wanted to he could move for a change of venue. It will be literally impossible for them to sit a jury given the size of the county, the publicity, etc. If they get a change of venue there's a possibility that he gets the death penalty. However, the longer it takes the harder it will be to try the case given the evidence, witnesses, etc. Maybe he will get out but I don't think it will be any time soon.

He's already out until the state decides if they're going to drop it our try him again.

He was just released on bond.

The case against him is now so weak that the judge granted a bond in a quadruple capital murder case.

I believe the next trail will be somewhere in the south end of the state but with as much attention as this case is getting it will be impossible to find juries that haven't heard something about the case.

All convictions were overturned for prosecutorial misconduct.

He has never been convicted.

So he was convicted prior to the convictions being overturned? The "prosecutorial misconduct" in the first two trials was largely due to the DA trying him for one murder at a time but bringing up the other murders at trial.

It's important to note that four of the trials did end up in a conviction, otherwise people will believe that he's being unfairly re-tried for a crime he didn't commit.

Also important to note that one of the hung juries was due to a juror claiming that he had inside info of evidence being planted and was charged with perjury after the trial.

he was a democrat in 1991, which is the last time he had a challenger.

The 2nd trial was granted a change of venue and was held in Harrison County on the Coast. Flowers was convicted and sentenced to death. This verdict was overturned on appeal by the Mississippi Supreme Court, which held that the court had improperly allowed evidence regarding crimes not on trial to be admitted, and that other prosecutorial errors were made.

It's also important to note that Doug Evans, the prosecutor, is 7 times more likely to strike a black juror than he is a white juror.

Nvm, I see it.

Those "witnesses" have recanted. They were promised $30,000 if they would just point the finger at Flowers after he was picked up.
