Without being to nosey, North Louisiana? I’m also in North Louisiana if I can help in anyway.
Yep. Between Homer and Minden. Can't think of anything right now. Sincerely appreciate the offer. May take you up on it one day. Thanks for everything.

Prayers and donations needed. Everything is overwhelming for my daughter. She's been a rock. I'm so proud of her.

teedee - I know y'alls heads are swimming right now.. but if you or family want to talk, email me at genejr at bayou d0t net.
My kid lost kidney function starting at 3 months old, full transplant at 2 years... lost that kidney and stayed on dialysis for 20+ years until receiving a transplant 18 months ago.
He's 25 now and going strong.
It wasn't easy - devastating at times, but it's doable and sometimes just hearing from others that deal with long term major illness helps. I know it did for us.

From Reagan
Blakely is about to have an exploratory laparoscopy to find where she is bleeding from in her stomach. Drs suspect her intestines. They may have to remove a part of her intestines or colon. She may need a colonoscopy bag. Very high risk surgery. It may stop her dialysis or make her switch to a riskier hemo dialysis. Pray pray pray!
They just took her back.

Awesome story sir! God Bless
I'm not a practicing Catholic but certainly have my beliefs. I'll share a quick story about my oldest son. He was born via emergency c section, almost full term. After he was born, he was having breathing difficulty and his heart rate was 320bpm (if I remember correctly). Dumb arse NICU nurse tells us "that's the highest I've ever seen", so that helped our nerves. He had open heart surgery in Birmingham at 2 yrs age. Everything went well and after a few follow up visits to cardiologist he was released for good. He's 27 now and having a great life.
We went to church one Sunday with my mom when he was about 3-4 yrs old. Afterwards, my mom was walking with him back to the car and stopped at a statue of Mary. Mom asked him if he knew who that was. He replied "of course, that's the lady that was holding me".
