Just found out that it was confirmed that this was due to Islamic terrorists. With so many large scale and coordinated attacks by these so-called extremists, it is really making me wonder if they aren't so extreme after all, and the Muslims who live normal non-murderous lives are the real extremists.
These are no longer just a fringe group of people committing some bad things. Too many incidents, too many people behind these incidents. When does it stop? I was foolish enough to believe that after Bin Laden died, things would begin to cool down and get better. Boy was I wrong.
I hate it because I have known many Muslims in real life. Great people, many you would have no idea of their religion unless they told you. If I was ever a Muslim I would have been disassociated myself from that religion.
Also Side question: This is likely due on a bit of ignorance on my part. But was it this bad before 9/11? It seems like once a month there is a new tragedy where Muslim terrorist are to blame. I was a child before 9/11, so obviously I don't remember anything then. And my history classes never covered stuff that recent in time.

Incorrect.
The proposition of "kill non Muslims" is a conjunction of "kill" and "non-Muslims". If you invert this logically, you must change the conjunction to disjunction. Thus the inverted statement becomes "don't kill" or "Muslims".
So the literally opposite would read like this: "Either don't kill anyone or kill Muslims only"
I wish the Koran said that.
