Absolutely.

Somebody post that the Governor won’t grant an exception for TEDs on trawls.

The band wagoners jump on and they don’t even know what a TED is or that the Governor got jackshite to do with TEDS.

People that don’t know about shite love to talk like they do

Saw a post on fb earlier about 5 life jackets being found together along with an empty water bottle and flashlight that was cut from one of the jackets. I haven’t read every post in this thread so not sure if it’s been discussed nor do I know if it’s true.

fricking idiots that live their life off of everything they read on Facebook, have no clue what they’re talking about, share and spread false information, but it makes them feel good.

I keep reading about this. Like it may be a lead pipe clue to a murder.

Oilfield hands cut and steal stuff all of the time. That light could have disappeared a dozen different ways.

They want permission to remove the TEDS, designed to prevent turtles from getting hung in the nets. Bodies would release through these the same way turtles do, so they would essentially be picking up and then releasing any bodies that they picked up while dragging.

So he has nothing to do with SEACOR Marine? He works for a completely different company.

I would wager that tiger91 falls into at least one of these categories, maybe both!

I'm passing along information from those who are doing the searching and running into road blocks. Tiger91 isn't advocating for anything other than these guys to be found and brought home.

You’re an obsessed loon who is spreading misinformation everywhere. I’ve watched your obsession develop since about page 6-8 and I told you then you should take a break.
I don’t care if this is your new hobby, but your “I’m just passing along the info” excuse for taking things out of context and misrepresenting facts because you don’t fully understand what you’re reading on Facebook is a load of shite. Take a break and quit repeating every stupid post some shrimper with an agenda makes. You’re not helping get anyone found. You’re just sowing confusion cause you don’t really have a clue. Let it go.

Also I’m a woman — I just want these families to have their people back. I’m no good to anyone near water or walking through the marsh

Hey Lady.

We don’t discriminate here. Even against hysterical women if any were about.

Rest assured that the men here want rescue or recovery as badly as any woman.

Yes, this.

Someone needs a light for their work vest and they cut it off a type 1 sitting in the rack.

Read till the end

quote:

Scott Daspit, the father of missing ‘Seacor Power’ crew member Dylan Daspit just arrived at the Cocodrie dock after scouring hundreds of miles. He is keeping a map of the search area, attempting to coordinate a search involving more than 50 boats today and 200 people. One seaplane went up. At least five people brought search dogs. Search crews have now located an even dozen lifejackets from the sunken lift boat. They also found a kilo of cocaine in the marsh, origin unknown

Found an old square grouper out there it looks like. Odd sentence to include in that passage for sure.

wouldn't you wnat your family member possibly found over the concern for sea turtles?

If alive, sure, but recovering remains I’d probably be comfortable preserving life of others - including animals.

Always easier to say in the abstract though.

Looks like the search crew is gonna have some extra energy over the next few days to knock out more miles. No reason to sleep when you got a kilo laying around.
