I believe it was posted in the comments under the Gazette story. I am useless on positing pictures here - sorry. A few people had posted some layouts of the boat in that comment section.

So I found a pic of the floors on the sp scanner — they have level one and two left .. and then the galley.

Unfortunately, level one, two & the galley are the levels where the remaining missing would have been during transit. Off tower guys for the vessel were likely housed on level 2 while the Cardinal coil tubing hands would be housed on level 1 but some could have been in the galley at that time too. The galley hands & cook would most likely be in the galley or level 1.

Brining in the union divers, vs other divers is the first thing I take issue with that lets me know this guy has an agenda.

When there are people in the water that shite goes out the window real quick. If the weather conditions permit, there will be divers in the water.

As a layman, not in the GOM marine industry, I wondered about the use of divers from the northeast that are probably not familiar with O&G rigs. But that’s just me.

There's still at least one galley hand missing, Gregory Walcott.

Oh I thought they found him — or were there two? Older black gentleman - he had somewhat curly hair in the photo I saw. Was close to retiring.

God willing I hope he is found alive, along with the rest of those unaccounted for. My heart hurts for those still missing, and even more for their families. I hate to say it, but unless you’ve been on one of these boats, you can’t honestly picture what it would really be like in a situation like this..

So, if the two guys in the engine room were found dead, is it safe to assume they drowned? I’m having trouble understanding this whole air pocket thing. If there are air pockets in the engine room, then what would have caused them to die?

If they did drown, then wouldn’t water be in every level below them and everyone would be drowned?

Daniel Boteler FB Post:

Update 10:01, 1 body was recovered and on way to port to be properly identified, they have cleared level 3. They are still actively diving and working.
Unfortunately I will no longer be making post in regards to this horrible, horrifying event that has taken place. I would say to everyone keep hope, faith and keep praying for a miracle.
Thank you everyone for your prays and continue them as we work through this process of hope we can bring him home alive.

Eventually the air becomes toxic bc of co2. You use up all the available oxygen, and the breath you exhale is co2. You basically suffocate yourself.

God bless those men..

The company is based out of the Northeast.
