Shifty Henry said to Bugs, "For Heaven's sake
No one's lookin', now's the chance to make a break"
Bugsy turned to Shifty and he said, "Nix nix
I wanna stick around a while and get my kicks"

In the Superdome? Do the promoters think it's 1985 or something?

I think Billy Joel is still a big draw. Will be interesting to see how many tickets they sell and what the price points are

I wish Billy Joelbwould go play MSG for millionth time and just let Stevie play the Superdome.

I love Stevie and would go see this but not if I have to endure Billy Frickin Joel.

Since when does announcing a concert of past-their-prime geriatric performers warrant a news conference?

PJ, this is an absolute true story. I am not sure the guy is still his manager or not, but Billy Joel's personal manager was/is from Plaquemine, where I am from. My boss, when I was in college, was good friends with the guy growing up and they still kept in touch. My boss at the time said he would ask the guy all kind of questions and one day he asked him what was the hardest thing he ever had to do for Billy Joel. He said it was finding him a hamburger at 3AM in some place in Utah.

The guy rode around for 45 mins and spotted a diner and the manager of the place happened to be outside and was preparing to open for breakfast. He stopped and told the guy who he worked for and that he would pay him $50 to cook a hamburger. The guy agreed and evidently it was one of the best burgers Billy Joel ever ate.

Well first of all his music sucks almost but nearly as bad a Bruce Springsteen. And slightly better than Chris (no tune) Stapleton. I hate them all as artists.

But I also dislike him and mainly because he married then divorced Christy Brinkley. That’s basically it.

Stevie on the other hand might be one of the greatest female vocalists ever. Even when she sounds like a goat.
