Here's another one.

I was living in West Campus Apartments at LSU at the time. It was just after dark, maybe around 7:00pm, and I drove my car out of the parking lot onto Aster Street heading towards Highland. I see what looks like a flashlight moving back and forth near the street in front of Hart Lot. I assumed it was a hobo on a bicycle, but when I got closer, it was a BRPD officer who was flagging me to pull over.
He approached the car and asked for my license and registration. I asked if there was anything wrong (I wasn't speeding, as I had just turned out of the parking lot not 400 feet prior). He then asked for my SO's license and if she was underage (she was sitting in the passenger seat and was 21 at the time). When I asked him again what was the matter, he asked me to step out of the car, shoved me on the hood of his squad car, and then searched me.

Once he determined I didn't have any drugs or alcohol on me, he gave me a speeding ticket. I asked him if I could see the radar gun (knowing he didn't have it out), and he told me he didn't have to show it to me. My wife then chimed in saying, "Actually, by Louisiana law, you are required to show the radar gun if requested." Visibly frustrated, he then dug around in his car for 10 minutes, eventually finding the radar gun in his trunk. He then walked up to the passenger side window. Right before he handed the radar gun over to my SO, he said "Whoops, I cleared it" in a very condescending tone. Then, he gave us back our licenses and told us to leave.

The ticket was eventually thrown out when I went to contest it. The POS didn't even bother showing up at the courthouse.
