Franklinton Demons. If you don’t like it then suck it up buttercup. The Jr high was once the Devils but bitches like yourself got the name turned into the Falcons. Did it really have to do with religion 100+ years ago? I don’t think so, it was more of a mascot back then, which meant fear an intimidation in those days.

Northwestern State became the demons because the president of the school was either a priest or minister, and the student body hated him. They chose demon to stick it to him.

Republican-controlled state legislatures presently all have similar proposed new laws on their 2024 agendas requiring such mascot names be changed to "Woodchucks".

The high school in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota was at one time the Satans. Not Devils or Demons.. the SATANS.

We were the Red Devils at the tiny country school I attended for a time. Most students and teachers were hardcore Baptists or Pentecostals; the sight of a Catholic could put them over the edge, and they could and would quote scripture on any issue. But no one ever mentioned the Red Devils being an issue.
